Institute for Theory of Strongly Correlated and Complex Systems

Theoretical physics strives on synergetic interactions, free exchange of
ideas and cross-fertilization of its different fields.
That was our motivation to organize the
Institute for Theory of Strongly Correlated and Complex Systems
at Brookhaven. The main objective of the Institute is
to advance the theory of strongly correlated and complex systems
and to bring them closer to each other and to experiment.
We envision the everyday functioning of the Institute as being the
home of several theorists visiting for a long period of time (up to several
months) and of short-term visitors, both theorists and
experimentalists. We also organize 1-2 week workshops with
a larger number of participants. The third in this series is:
International Workshop
Complex biomolecular networks: structure, evolution, and function
We are looking forward to your visit!
